W ramach zadania "Bardzo Młoda Kultura" Wojewódzki Ośrodek Animacji Kultury w Białymstoku dnia 24 września zorganizował warsztaty „Kwiaty polskie z foamiranu”. FOAMIRAN to delikatne tworzywo sztuczne, które w dotyku przypomina aksamit. Dzięki swojej niezwykłej plastyczności poddany niewielkiej temperaturze, pozwala na dowolne formowanie zachowując przy tym nowy kształt.  Warsztaty poprowadziła Lina Shvets – artystka pochodząca z Ukrainy, od 8 lat mieszkająca razem z rodziną w Polsce. Rękodzieło jest jej pasją, miłością i pracą.  W szkoleniu uczestniczyły instruktorki  Gminnego Centrum Kultury - Wanda Dzienis i Henryka Storonowicz, co oznacza, że warsztaty z wykonywania prac tą techniką już niedługo pojawią się w ofercie GCK.
